About

Cheryl Pascucci, NP is a consulting practitioner of Mind-Body Medicine.

Welcome friends. I have been in recovery from Western Medicine, and all other kinds of limiting beliefs, for about 15 years now when my younger sister died of breast cancer at age 42. As a Nurse Practitioner, I was taught to be the expert in other people’s lives. What I’ve come to understand is that this belief was disempowering to everyone involved. We create mystery and dependence on an idea that someone else has all the answers and we stop trusting ourselves. My intention with this work is to teach Mind-Body Medicine in a way that is accessible to anyone interested so you can trust and take care of yourself 1st. I’m creating a safe space to explore what’s possible by focusing on the image of what life could be like when we feel healthy — mind, body, and spirit.

These are some of the reasons I’m sharing this information:

— Say you were to spend one full hour each and every day, 365 days per year with either your PCP, Specialist, Therapist, or any other health care professional on your team. That would still be only 4% of your time. What are we doing the other 96% of our time? taking care of ourselves.

— Every single thing that comes out of my mouth, or is written down by me, is projection. My life experiences, my licensing, my certifications, my trainings were all focused on areas that are of interest to me. It’s not just me who is projecting; it is everyone else in your life too. Your PCP, your therapist, your parents, your adult children, news broadcasters, politicians, everyone is projecting what they’ve decided is important to focus on. This is completely fine as long as you know this. This is the only way to keep yourself safe. It is perfectly OK to witness what others have to share but know that it is projection of their own life experiences, world view, and belief system. Life experiences are very important — possibly the most important thing when you are learning something new. If someone has had similar life experiences as you, you may experience more trust, more safety in that connection.
